| DINING EXPERIENCE OF THE WEEK
 Chef's Table at Villa Mayfair
Why? When it's time to go all out. If you have cause for celebration, Villa Mayfair can take care of the details. The restaurant has just opened a private chef's table in its kitchen, where parties of up to 12 people can enjoy seven-course meals. You can ask Chef Frederic Joulin (who previously worked at Guy Savoy in Paris and cooked for former French president Jacques Chirac) for a customized menu or let him surprise you with dishes like truffle artichoke soup, risotto with foie gras shavings and Moroccan-style organic chicken.

| RESTAURANT OF THE WEEK
 Mesa
Why? Chef Villarroel has earned her following. Though Charlotte's has shuttered for good, the chef that created the famed "chocolate soup" at the cozy Coral Gables bistro hasn't gone anywhere. Elida Villarroel is still in the kitchen at Mesa, the new restaurant that opened in the space, serving gourmet comfort food like corn tamales, crab risotto and bacon-wrapped pork loin. The new decor also packs a kick: The walls feature a recurring neon motif of women surfing on lipsticks.

| TOP PICK OF LAST WEEK
 Queen Lounge
Why? It's a crown affair. While its name is an homage to powerful women, the countless pictures that line the metallic walls at Queen pay tribute to a different type of lady: The scantily clad beauty. Tear your eyes away from the wall art to find a menu consisting of tapas and more than two dozen hand-crafted cocktails. Arrive between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on any day of the week and pay only five dollars for creative concoctions like the Wild Side (tequila, vermouth and tobacco bitters).
